Ohhh where does the time go?!?

I'll tell you where it goes...

In less then a week it will have been 1 year since I first started my mat leave (yes that turned out to be a month in advance). Brylen was due on April 9, 2012 and I wanted a little bit of time to get organized and relax, I also had a small feeling he'd be early and figured I best be done early to accomplish that.

April 5, 2012
Well, my little man decided to wait almost an entire month to make his debut making April 21, 2012 the BEST day of my life.

Fast forward 11 months and here we are today! As busy as can be (him more then me) and loving each and every second of it. I plan on doing "A day in the life of" post in the near future but until then I will leave you with a few of our more recent pics!

Spring Showers-part 2

Note: I started this post waaaay back in July but at the time my computer was down and I did not have access to these photo's. As promised, here it is:

Brylens first road trip was to my hometown in Saskatchewan. He travelled great and we actually stopped more times for Daddy then we did for Bry! (We've made the trip a few times since and Brylen has done great, as has Clayton. I almost have him fully trained that once we're in the car, we drive....as far as possible and we don't stop for anything ;)

It was so wonderful to have Brylen finally meet all my relatives, especially my lovely and beautiful Granny and all of my Aunt's, Uncle's, Cousins and siblings.

4 Generations
My lovely sister Tracy co-hosted my shower at her place and my BFF from high school Tash helped AND made the trip all the way from Winnipeg (that's like 5hrs) to surprise me! LOVED IT!

My sister made Brylen the coolest gift, a diaper bike! It was a good spin on the old diaper cake and I loved it!

My Auntie Joan also went all out and did a pretty good job putting together the fruit platter. She had offered to bring fruit and my sister sent her a picture and told her this is how we wanted it to look! I think she nailed it & I also loved that :)

I received so many wonderful gifts from everyone and best of all, the car seat I wanted oh so bad, which oddly enough, since this post took me 8 months to finish, we have switch Brylen into TODAY!

A tiny Brylen trying out his new seat!
I appreciated so much all the big and small details that went into this shower and I love so much that everyone came to meet my newest little man! xoxo
